It was a nice surprise to get this email as its the first time someone has contacted me to ask me to do something. I asked Helen how she found me and she said she found me when Googling for local crafters, one of my posts on the site UKHandmade came up so she followed my link through to see my jewellery shop of Folksy. It's really encouraging to know that I can be found and it shows that being active on sites such as these is very worthwhile!
The fundraising committee worked really hard and made it a great evening. While the ladies were waiting for their beauty treatments there were able to wander around looking at the small selection of sellers and chat in the garden with their drinks and nibbles.
Among the sellers there was lady selling beautiful cakes, an Avon Rep and 2 fellow Folksy sellers, Zoe Wickens of Buttoned Up and Pinned Down and Beth Fairchild, of Beth Fairchild Photography.

Beth is a photographer and was selling some fantastic prints. Beth has just taken the leap and this is now her main business so I wish her the very best of luck. I'm sure she'll do really well as her work is amazing, here's the link to her website

I'm really hoping that Goslings Playgroup raised lots of money as I believe they rely heavily on donations and fundraising events.
I had a successful evening myself with quite a few sales, so I'm going to need to update my own shop, here is one item that will be added soon...
