We thought we'd spoil ourselves for a change so we had a deluxe afternoon tea with a glass of champagne (so excited we forgot to take any photos of it!) and then went for a walk along the front. There are some great places under the arches selling art and handmade crafts - so much inspiration! Then through the Lanes where we visited the Brighton Bead Shop and on to the pier 
where we had a lovely fish and chip supper. Went back to the hotel when mum couldn't walk any more .... we took the lift to our room on the 5th floor!
It was such a windy day on our second day, the waves were crashing against the beach 
I wanted to see the Pavillion and we took the tour which was well worth it - the dining room there is amazing! No photos allowed inside but here's my mum at the entrance
Then more browsing in the Lanes, a lovely dinner at Cafe Rouge and back to the hotel just in time to see the beautiful sunset.
